About our Hosts
Will Turner is our moderator and is the founder of Beyond Data, a Brisbane technology company building AI and data systems for Australian asset-heavy industries. He has a background in data science, process optimisation and analytics, and is mostly optimistic about AI, much to Alex's disgust.
Jim may not be quite as optimistic as Will, but he's close. The 20 years he has spent in the technology industry always drags him back to reality. Founder and Head of Solutions at QuantalAI, Jim works with small to medium-sized businesses from multiple industries, bridging the gap between what is possible for enterprise and the day to day needs of most Australian businesses.
Alex Stenlake is what happens when intellectual curiosity is left unsupervised for too long. He is interested in AI, complex systems, decision making, and the dangerous belief that every problem becomes easier if you draw enough diagrams. Results have been mixed. He can be relied upon to spend twenty minutes disagreeing with any proposal, particularly if he agrees with you.
